Accuracy
How our predictions compared with what players actually scored, against FPL's own number (recent form)
How it works
How predictions work
Each prediction is an average over everything that could happen, weighted by how likely it is, not a best case. It combines the chance a player is fit and starts (from his club's depth chart and FPL's injury news) and plays 60 minutes; his expected goals and assists, adjusted for the opponent and for his finishing record; penalties, if he's his club's taker; the chance of a clean sheet; defensive contributions, saves, bonus and cards.
This season's numbers are blended steadily with previous seasons: the more a player plays this season, the more this season counts. Team strengths come from this season's expected goals. Tested on every gameweek of 2024/25 and 2025/26, these predictions pick better players than FPL's own expected points, which are just recent form.
